The EVA'LAD 2 is a high quality webbing rescue ladder designed for the rescue and evacuation of persons who are fully conscious after a fall and wearing personal protective equipment against falls from a height (PPEgA). The ladder has an impressive length of 6 meters, providing sufficient clearance to safely rescue people from difficult situations at height.
The rungs of the ladder are particularly stable, as they are equipped with aluminum reinforcement and have a diameter of 11 mm. In addition, the 6th and 7th rungs are colored red and orange, respectively, from below to make the end of the ladder easier to visually identify.
The outstanding feature of this rescue ladder is its integrated safety system. A special anchor point is attached to the upper textile loop of the ladder, to which the safety system is fastened. The belay system consists of a travelling fall arrester and a robust kernmantel rope with a diameter of 10 mm and a length of 7 meters. This belay system allows the victim to reach a safe place secured, either by climbing up or down, while being additionally protected by a second person against another fall.
It is important to emphasize that under no circumstances should this ladder be used as a means of access. Its sole purpose is to evacuate and rescue people in emergency situations.
The EVA'LAD 2 is extremely compact, portable and lightweight, which makes it an indispensable rescue tool. Thanks to the included integrated carrying bag, it can be easily transported and quickly deployed at its place of use. Installation and use of the ladder are uncomplicated and time-saving.
Three steel carabiners are also included to ensure a reliable connection between the ladder and the belay system.
The EVA'LAD 2 complies with strict safety requirements and is certified in accordance with the PPE Directive/11.115.
In terms of materials, the ladder is made of durable webbing made of polyester, while the rungs are reinforced with aluminum. With a weight of 3.88 kg, it is light enough to easily carry with you without losing stability and safety.
